The situation

A driver stuck at a barrier at midnight is a customer, a camera alert on level 3 is a risk. Both need an answer now.

Parking operators run large, mostly unstaffed estates. Intercom calls from stuck drivers, payment-machine faults, people sleeping in stairwells and catalytic-converter theft all land in the same queue, and the brand damage from an unanswered intercom is immediate.

Our operators take that queue overnight and at weekends: friendly, patient intercom handling in English, barrier releases per your rules, camera verification on every alarm and escalation to mobile patrols or the police when there is a real incident. Your centre keeps the licence and the contracts; we keep the seats filled.

Intercoms ringing unanswered

Night-time intercom calls go unanswered when the centre is short-staffed, and drivers remember.

Stairwells and lifts attract trouble

Rough sleeping, drug use and vandalism in enclosed garages need early, consistent intervention.

Vehicle crime in seconds

Catalytic converters and bikes go in under two minutes; cameras only help if someone is watching.

What your Haven team does

Polite service for drivers, firm action on incidents.

  • Answering intercom and help-point calls and resolving barrier, ticket and payment issues
  • Remote barrier release following your validation rules, with every release logged
  • Video verification of camera analytics alarms on levels, stairwells and exits
  • Audio announcements and talk-down to disperse loiterers and deter vandalism
  • Escalation to mobile patrols, the operator's duty manager or the police
  • Nightly reports with intercom volumes, response times and incident summaries
Hours and languages

Car-park seats are typically 24/7. Operators speak English and are trained in standard Dutch intercom phrases; we are transparent that Dutch-language conversational support is limited, so complex calls follow your routing to a local colleague.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can operators handle intercom calls in Dutch?

Operators handle calls in English and are trained in the short Dutch phrases that cover most barrier and payment situations. For longer conversations in Dutch or French, your routing sends the call to a local colleague, and we log the hand-over.

Which parking and intercom systems do you work with?

Operators work in your centre's platform. We have experience with common intercom and parking-management integrations such as Commend, Zenitel and Skidata within monitoring platforms, and we train on your setup before go-live.

How do you handle rough sleepers and anti-social behaviour?

Operators follow your procedure, usually a polite audio announcement first, then escalation to a mobile patrol or the police, with welfare considerations noted. Nothing is improvised.

What response times do you commit to?

Intercom answer and alarm acknowledgement times are agreed in writing, for example answering 90% of intercom calls within 20 seconds, and reported in the monthly scorecard.

Cover your parking intercoms and cameras for two weeks.

One trained operator on real night and weekend shifts, with answer and reaction times agreed upfront. Half the monthly fee, credited if you continue.
