The situation

Open sites, expensive plant and a new layout every week.

Construction sites are the hardest sites to monitor well. The layout changes weekly, camera towers get moved, wildlife and weather trigger detectors, and the targets (fuel, copper, power tools, small plant) disappear in minutes. Insurers increasingly require monitored CCTV, and contractors want proof that someone was watching.

Our operators are trained for temporary-site monitoring: they learn each site's current layout from your platform, filter nuisance alarms with care instead of ignoring zones, use the on-site speakers early, and escalate to your mobile response before the van is loaded.

Nuisance alarms all night

Rain, foxes and flapping sheeting cause detector floods that tired operators start to dismiss.

Theft is over in minutes

By the time a guard arrives, fuel tanks are drained and tools are gone.

Sites change every week

Zones, cameras and contacts move; procedures written on day one are stale by week three.

What your Haven team does

Watchful, early intervention on every site.

  • Live verification of PIR, thermal and video-analytics alarms from mobile camera towers
  • Immediate audio challenge through tower speakers, following your approved scripts
  • Escalation to mobile response, site manager or police with precise location and description
  • Regular virtual patrols of plant compounds, fuel points and material stores
  • Maintaining site layouts, contact lists and arming schedules in your platform as the site evolves
  • Nightly reports with event timelines that contractors can share with insurers
How licensing works

Monitoring of construction-site cameras in the Netherlands and Belgium runs through a licensed alarm receiving centre, usually contracted by the site-security provider who installs the towers. Haven Teams supplies operators to those centres. If you are a contractor, ask your tower supplier which centre monitors them.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Can operators cope with high nuisance-alarm rates?

Yes, and that is the point of dedicated staff. Operators are trained to check every event quickly rather than mute zones, and your team lead reviews alarm statistics weekly so detector settings can be tuned with your installers.

Do you support thermal cameras and video analytics?

Yes. Operators work with whatever your platform presents, including thermal, line-crossing and analytics alerts from the common tower manufacturers used in the Benelux.

How quickly is a site added to our operators' coverage?

Once your centre has the site in its platform, our team lead builds the instructions and briefs the operators, typically within one working day.

Can you provide reports for insurers?

Operators log every event in your platform and the nightly report includes timestamps, actions taken and outcomes, which your centre can pass to the contractor or insurer.

Staff your construction-site monitoring for two weeks.

One trained operator on your night shifts, working real tower alarms with reaction times agreed upfront. Half the monthly fee, credited if you continue.
