The situation

Your centre is licensed, certified and trusted. The only thing missing is enough people at 03:00.

Alarm receiving centres in the Netherlands and Belgium face the same labour market: operators are hard to recruit, night shifts drive attrition, and every resignation means weeks of overtime and expensive agency cover. Growth is limited not by clients but by seats you can staff.

Haven Teams adds trained, supervised operators to your roster from our secure office in Kolkata. They work your shifts in your platform through locked-down virtual desktops, follow your procedures, report to your shift supervisor and appear in your scorecards like any other operator. The licence, the client contracts and the responsibility stay yours; we solve staffing.

Night-shift attrition

Operators leave for daytime roles, and each departure restarts a 6–10 week recruitment cycle.

Seasonal and holiday peaks

December, summer holidays and storm seasons need capacity you cannot keep year-round.

Growth blocked by headcount

New client sites are turned away because you cannot staff them.

What your Haven team does

Operators who become part of your roster.

  • Working your night, weekend and holiday shifts in your alarm-management and video platforms
  • Alarm verification, virtual patrols, audio talk-down and escalation under your procedures and scripts
  • Overflow capacity during storms, festive seasons and client onboarding peaks
  • Reporting to your shift supervisor, with our team lead handling rostering, absence cover and quality checks
  • Incident logging, shift hand-overs and client reports in your systems
  • Participation in your training updates, drills and audits as required by your certification
Certification and remote workplaces

We work only as extra operator capacity inside your certified centre, for example under EN 50518, the Dutch WPBR framework or the Belgian private-security licence. We confirm with you how your certification and your auditor treat remote operator workplaces before the pilot, and we document our office, access controls and screening for your file.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does using remote operators affect our licence or certification?

It depends on your certification body and how your remote workplaces are documented. We provide full documentation of our secure office, virtual-desktop controls, screening and supervision so you can discuss it with your auditor before committing. We will tell you if we think your setup does not allow it.

How are operators trained and supervised?

Operators complete our monitoring foundation course, then train on your platform and procedures during onboarding. On shift they report to your supervisor; our team lead handles scheduling, backup cover and quality reviews, and the monthly scorecard shows acknowledgement and decision times per operator.

What does a seat cost compared with local staff?

A dedicated operator costs from €1,300 a month, including recruitment, training, equipment, supervision and backup cover. A 24/7 seat typically needs five to six operators. Most centres find this around half the fully loaded cost of local night staff.

How quickly can you scale up for a new client site?

Once a team is established, adding operators for a new site typically takes two to four weeks, including training on the site's procedures. We keep trained reserve capacity to shorten this for existing clients.
